Lydia Hearst Shaw (born 19 September 1984) is the daughter of kidnapping victim Patty Hearst and her husband, and former bodyguard, Bernard Shaw.

Lydia is a socialite (unemployed) and one of many heirs to William Randolph Hearst's media empire.
Lydia was born and raised in Wilton, Connecticut. Since graduating from Wilton High School she attended Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut where she majored in Communications&Technology and has moved into Manhattan, New York where she works as a full-time fashion model (as we said - unemployed). She is the daughter of Bernard Shaw and Patty Hearst (the granddaughter of William Randolph Hearst) who was kidnapped in 1974 by an urban guerilla group, the Symbionese Liberation Army.
