She has also appeared in several TV movies, most notably the 1980 "Bogie" in which she played movie legend Lauren Bacall (reportedly against Bacall's wishes).
Harrold dated co-star Albert Brooks on the set of his film, ''Modern Romance''. Since 1994, Harrold has been married to Lawrence O'Donnell, former aide to Daniel Patrick Moynihan, and former Chief of Staff for the Senate Finance Committee. He is currently an MSNBC political analyst. O'Donnell is also an executive producer of the award-winning TV series ''The West Wing''.
